FAQ concerning parking space booking at McParking

After arriving at McParking, we will drive you to the airport terminal in a comfortable low-floor bus, the transfer time is approx. 10 minutes. Our buses to Berlin Brandenburg Airport leave every 20 minutes on the hour, 20 minutes after and 20 minutes before. Your destination is the long-distance bus car park B, from here it is not far to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The first departure from our premises to the airport starts at 02:20, in the period from November to March at 02:40.


After your return flight to BER, first collect your luggage and go back to long-distance bus park B, which is signposted in the terminal. At bus park B, our buses also leave for McParking every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after and 20 minutes before. As a rule, our bus is already waiting there 5 minutes before departure. The last departure from the airport to McParking is at 00:40, in the period from November to March at 00:20. If you arrive later at the bus park, please call us at +49 (0)30 41 400 300, you will be picked up in any case! You can see the exact location of the buses here.

Yes, you need to reserve in advance. You will receive a parking ticket from us with your reservation. Please note that it is not possible to enter our premises without the parking ticket.

No, our guests generally park without leaving their car keys with us. At our location in Berlin-Bohnsdorf, however, a key deposit can be booked optionally. You will find this option in the booking tab on the website.

Please first check the spam folder of the mailbox that you used for booking. Depending on your individual security settings, the booking confirmation might be stored there, so it may not be displayed in the inbox.

If you cannot find the booking confirmation there, please send us a request using the contact form on our website.

When you drive up to our multi-storey car park or car park, the barrier opens automatically with the help of the number plate recognition.

You will also find a QR code on your parking ticket. If the number plate recognition does not work, please hold this code up to the reader.

After landing and transferring back to the multi-storey car park or car park, drive your car to the exit barrier, which will open again automatically due to the number plate recognition. Alternatively, please use the QR code from your parking ticket.

If you have not paid for your parking space in advance or if you are parking longer than booked, you must make the appropriate payment at the automatic pay station or to our staff before leaving.

This information is mandatory when booking. By entering your registration number, you can drive through the barrier practically and without contact. It also helps to assign the parked vehicles to the bookings and thus to contact the owner directly if necessary.
If you change to a different number plate before your arrival, you can enter the change in your booking yourself or inform our staff of the change at check-in.

If you book with us, we guarantee a parking space on the day of arrival stated in the booking. We do not assign a fixed parking space number. You park your vehicle in one of the designated spaces.

For entry into the multi-storey car park, your vehicle must not exceed the maximum height of 2.10m. Both in the multi-storey car park and in the car park, the permissible vehicle width is 2.20m and vehicle length 5.50m.

For larger vehicles, we offer our XL parking spaces. These are located in the open area and can be booked online or on-site.

Before you enter the car park, please report to our staff member on the car park side in the info area. They will then assign you an e-mobility space and take your car key.

The e-charging stations are located on the first floor of the parking garage, our employee will accompany you there after entering the parking garage (with the help of the license plate recognition).

Our staff will carry out the charging process. We will not move your car for this. As soon as the car is fully charged, we will finish the charging process so that you will find a fully charged car when you return.

Exit from the parking garage is again automatic via license plate recognition. Alternatively, the QR code from the booking confirmation can be held up to the reader in front of the barrier.

You have already paid for the parking space and the charging process online in advance. You do not have to make a payment - unless you park longer than booked, in which case you will have to pay for the parking space at our pay station or to our staff member. A one-off flat rate is charged for the charging process (incl. current draw-off). You can find out the current price in the booking screen. This applies regardless of the actual charging quantity required. You will therefore not receive an exact invoice for the charge taken. Booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. If the parking fee has already been paid, we will refund the amount by the original payment method.

If your tariff is cancellable, click on the link in the booking confirmation to update your booking. Your cancellation request will then be reviewed by our service department, and you will receive a reply by e-mail. Please note the cancellation policy for your reservation. You can find the details in our general terms and conditions. You can also cancel individual bookings in your customer account. For this it is necessary to create a customer account.

A change of times, number plates, number of persons etc. is possible via the link to update your booking in the booking confirmation. A change of the travel period is only possible through our staff. The adjustment of the booking is only possible up to 24 hours before arrival. If desired changes are not possible there, please contact us by e-mail at info@mcparking.de or by telephone at +49 (0)30 414 003 00.
You can also access your future bookings in our customer login. This requires the creation of a customer account. Once you have saved the new changes, you will automatically receive an updated booking confirmation and parking ticket by e-mail.

After arrival, it is not possible to change the booking period. Please refer to the information on "Can I park for longer than I have booked?

You can park with us for longer than you have booked without any problems. Your car will of course remain on site. However, a retroactive change of your booking period after arrival is excluded. It is also not permitted to add the additional days to extend an existing booking by making a separate follow-up booking. No refunds will be made in the event of contravention of this provision.

The additional parking fees must be paid on departure at the ticket machine or at our information counter. The automatic pay station for the multi-storey car park is located in the stairwell by the lifts or directly by the exit. There you can pay the outstanding amount by entering your car registration number. For the car park, please contact our staff at the information counter.

With regard to the transfer from the airport to the car park, simply proceed as described in the booking confirmation, despite a different return date.

The times indicated in the booking are not binding, but only serve as help. The more precise they are, the better we can plan the logistics of the transfer. You can also arrive at a different time on the day indicated in the booking.

However, if you wish to park on an earlier day, the booking must - if it still possible - be changed in your customer account. Otherwise, the availability of parking spaces cannot be guaranteed. The times indicated in the booking are not binding but only serve as help. You can leave the car park on the booked departure day until midnight.

Yes, we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Your car is parked in fenced and locked lots. Likewise, all entrances to the car park and car park are monitored by cameras. Unlike many other car park providers, our staff is on site 24/7, makes regular rounds and helps immediately with any questions or problems.

For flights from the new airport Berlin Brandenburg we offer parking spaces in Berlin-Bohnsdorf. (Gebrüder-Hirth-Straße 27, 12526 Berlin). Simply select "Berlin Brandenburg BER" as the airport, enter the period and complete the booking.

If there is a delay or a last-minute change on the day of arrival, contact the shuttle driver directly under the shuttle phone number, which will be sent to you together with the booking confirmation.

Up to the time of arrival, you should contact the partner or travel agency. There you can make changes to your reservation and receive information.

From the day of arrival, McParking is the place you should contact in case you have any questions or wish to make any changes.

Members of the ADAC can save EUR 3.00 with every booking. To do this, you must select the ADAC discount on the booking form. The ADAC membership card must be carried on the day of arrival.

The ADAC discount cannot be combined with other discounts and vouchers.

Both for parking at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport and for other airports that you can book through us, it is possible to book additional vehicles.

To do this, you simply need to create another booking after completing one or contact our support team by email or phone.

The easiest way to do this is if you have a customer account with us and are logged in. You can easily and conveniently duplicate bookings in your booking management.

We recommend that you check in with us at least 2.5 hours before departure.

This will give you enough time to park your vehicle in your parking space and transfer to the airport.

Every parking space reservation includes transfer to the airport on arrival and back to your vehicle on departure for the number of persons specified in the booking.

You can register up to 5 persons for the shuttle service free of charge.
If there are more than 5 persons or additional shuttle trips, additional fees according to our general terms and conditions shall apply.

The transfer to BER airport takes approx. 10 minutes.

Almost everything fits into our large, comfortable shuttle buses. Each passenger can take a large suitcase and hand luggage free of charge. We can also transport foldable prams.

Bulky luggage, such as surfboards, bicycles or golf clubs must be taken to the airport before check-in at the car park.

In our multi-storey car park, you have the option of parking your car in the designated area and our staff will then carry out the charging process at the pillar for you. Your car will not be moved during your stay and will be waiting for you fully charged when you return.

We provide jump starters at each of our locations, so that your car can be jump-started at any time. If this does not work, assistance must be called.

At our location in Berlin, there is a large shuttle bus with fixed departure times. Here you do not need extra seats and are allowed to take children on your lap. Booster seats are also available on the bus if required.

Generally, we are not liable for damage caused by third parties (e.g. other guests) in our parking spaces or car parks during the stay. Liability is therefore limited to damage caused by us or third parties commissioned by us.

The prerequisite is that you have booked the key deposit or our loading service. You can also book both services at a later date with us on site.

Please report to our staff for key deposit when you arrive. If you park in the multi-storey car park, our staff member will be in the container to the right of the entrance. There is always a member of staff in the large white container in the car park.

When you return, you report to our staff member again and show him your parking ticket or booking confirmation. You will then receive your car key back.

The parking fee is paid at the time of booking in one of the following ways:

credit card online (Mastercard, VISA)
instant bank transfer

If there are any irregularities in your payment, this will be automatically recorded by our accounting department. You will then receive a letter by post in which we remind you of the outstanding amount. With this letter, we will also charge you for the additional costs incurred by us for the return debit note. The transmitted registration number or the QR code are active for parking regardless of this. So for the time being, you can arrive, park and fly in a relaxed manner.

Our staff can also discuss any discrepancies or outstanding amounts with you at check-in.

If you have selected "I need an invoice" in the booking mask, you will receive the invoice directly after the payment process. You can also access invoices for individual bookings in your customer login. You must have created a customer account for this.
