FAQ concerning parking space booking at McParking
It is recommended to book online in advance. A reservation guarantees more favourable conditions, speeds up the check-in process, and with the booking confirmation you will receive important information concerning the arrival and your parking stay. You can also decide whether you want to pay conveniently online (PayPal, credit card, instant bank transfer) or on arrival (cash, EC, credit card).
You can also arrive and park your car without a reservation. However, in this situation, we cannot guarantee a timely transfer and a free parking space.

No, our guests generally park without leaving their car keys with us. At our location in Berlin-Bohnsdorf, however, a key deposit can be booked optionally. You will find this option in the booking tab on the website.
Please first check the spam folder of the mailbox that you used for booking. Depending on your individual security settings, the booking confirmation might be stored there, so it may not be displayed in the inbox.
If you cannot find the booking confirmation there, please send us a request using the contact form on our website.
At our car parks, you will find a check-in area. Our employee will meet you there and explain the parking and transfer procedure. You can also make a payment (in cash, by EC or credit card) there. If you have already paid online in advance, you can still check in with our staff.
In your booking confirmation, you will find a QR code. To speed up the process, please have it ready as a printout or on your smartphone for check-in.
Please have your shuttle ticket ready for the transfer from the airport to the car park. You will have received it when you checked in on the day of your arrival. After handing in the shuttle ticket, our employee will open the transfer to the car park and the exit from the premises for you.
Should you have stayed away longer than planned, our check-in employee will receive an additional payment from you and then open the exit for you.
Its entry at the time of booking is optional. The entry of the license plate number helps us to allocate the parked vehicle to the booking and thus to contact the owner directly if necessary.
Should you change your license plate number before your arrival, you can record the change in your booking yourself or inform our employee of the change when you check in.
If you book with us, we guarantee a parking space on the day of arrival stated in the booking. We do not assign a fixed parking space number. You simply park your vehicle in a free parking space in the tariff class of your choice, which will be indicated in the booking confirmation under the item "Type of parking space". Our staff will inform you at the check-in where you can currently find the most free parking spaces.
Generally, we are not liable for damage caused by third parties (e.g. other guests) in our parking spaces or car parks during the stay. Liability is therefore limited to damage caused by us or third parties commissioned by us.
For the maximum vehicle size, please refer to the information on the website of the respective location. Please also note the height limit possibly indicated there.
The parking fee is paid at the time of booking in one of the following ways:
credit card online (Mastercard, VISA)
instant bank transfer
payment on arrival (cash, EC or credit card)
If there are any irregularities concerning your payment, they will be automatically recorded by our accounting department. You will receive a letter by post in which we will remind you of the outstanding payment. With this letter we will also charge you for the additional costs we incurred for the return debit note. Your QR code for parking will remain active because we have recorded your personal data. So you can arrive, park and fly without worrying.
Any discrepancies or outstanding amounts can also be discussed with our staff at the check-in.

You will receive the invoice for your booking automatically by e-mail. This happens as soon as you have checked in on the day of your arrival. Alternatively, you can access invoices for individual bookings in your customer account. For this, it is necessary to create a customer account.

Booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. If the parking fee has already been paid, we will refund the amount using the original payment method.

If your tariff is cancellable, click on the link in the booking confirmation to update your booking. Your cancellation request will then be reviewed by our service department, and you will receive a reply by e-mail. Please note the cancellation policy for your reservation. You can find the details in our general terms and conditions. You can also cancel individual bookings in your customer account. For this it is necessary to create a customer account.
A change of time, arrival and/or departure date, license plate number, number of persons, etc. is possible via the update link in the booking confirmation. Changes to the booking can be made 24 hours before arrival at the latest. If the changes you wish to make are not possible there, contact us by mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone: +49 (0)30 414 003 00. You can also access reservations that can still be changed via your customer account. For this, it is necessary to create a customer account. Once you have saved the new changes, you will automatically receive an updated booking confirmation by e-mail.
If there are any changes at very short notice, you can discuss them with our staff at the check-in.
After the check-in, a change to the booking period is no longer possible. Please note the information under „Can I park longer than I have booked?"
You can park longer than you have booked without any problems. Your car will remain in the spot where you left it. A change of your booking period after check-in is excluded. Also, it is not possible to add more days to extend an existing booking by making a separate follow-up booking. No refunds will be made in the event of non-compliance with this provision.
The additional parking fees must be paid at the check-in on departure. After the additional payment, our staff will open the exit for you.
As far as the transfer from the airport to the car park is concerned, you simply behave as described in the booking confirmation, despite the different return date.
The times indicated in the booking are not binding, but only serve as help. The more precise they are, the better we can plan the logistics of the transfer. You can also arrive at a different time on the day indicated in the booking.
However, if you wish to park on an earlier day, the booking must - if it still possible - be changed in your customer account. Otherwise, the availability of parking spaces cannot be guaranteed. Reservations can be made at any time online, by e-mail or by telephone, even if the tour operator has not made the flight details available yet.
Reservations can be made in advance for parking at the Berlin-Tegel, Berlin-Schönefeld, Berlin-Brandenburg and Leipzig airports. That way, you secure the desired parking space and the current, favourable early booking parking fee. Since the times „Arrival at the car park" and „Landing of the return flight at the airport" are mandatory fields, please enter a fictitious time there.
As soon as you receive the flight details, you can easily change the booking online or send us the flight details by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org or let us know by phone.

The address and directions how to get to your booked parking space will also be sent to you together with the booking confirmation.
You can always park safely at an attractive price also with our partner Holidayextras at the airports outside Berlin and Halle / Leipzig. On our website, you can get the exact price for the parking space and booking period you are looking for calculated and make your reservation quickly and easily. Simply select the desired airport and period. When you click "NEXT", a new tab with all the available offers at our partner Holidayextras will open.
After your arrival at McParking, we will take you to the airport terminal by a comfortable shuttle bus. Sometimes we use smaller shuttle vehicles that run regularly and at some locations, at certain times there is also a large shuttle bus with a fixed timetable. The details can be found in your booking confirmation.
When you arrive with your luggage at the pick-up point after your return flight, wait for our shuttle vehicle. If we use a shuttle bus, it will arrive at the scheduled time. For locations with smaller shuttle vehicles, please wait a few minutes at the pick-up point. If no shuttle vehicle arrives in about 5 minutes, please inform us. You will find the shuttle vehicle number in your booking confirmation or on the shuttle ticket.
Yes, we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Your car is parked in a fenced and locked car park. Relevant areas of the car park are also surveilled with cameras.
For flights from the new airport Berlin Brandenburg we offer parking spaces in Berlin-Bohnsdorf. (Gebrüder-Hirth-Straße 27, 12526 Berlin). Simply select "Berlin Brandenburg BER" as the airport, enter the period and complete the booking.
You can choose to park your car on the day of arrival directly in our car park at the Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) and then travel to the Tegel Airport (TXL) by public transport or taxi.
It is also possible to park your car in our car park at the Berlin-Tegel (TXL) upon arrival and after landing on the day of return, take public transport or a taxi to the car park to pick up the car.

If there is a delay or a last-minute change on the day of arrival, contact the shuttle driver directly under the shuttle phone number, which will be sent to you together with the booking confirmation.
Up to the time of arrival, you should contact the partner or travel agency. There you can make changes to your reservation and receive information.

The Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) should open on 31 October 2020.
The Tegel Airport is scheduled to close on 8 November 2020, eight days after the planned opening of the Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
In the future, trains will run every 15 minutes between the Berlin Central Station and BER. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Multiple S-Bahn and bus connections complete the public transport offer. For non-residents, we recommend installing the BVG app and using it for the transfer.
Members of the ADAC can save EUR 5.00 with every booking. To do this, you must select the ADAC discount on the booking form. The ADAC membership card must be presented on the day of arrival.
The ADAC discount cannot be combined with other discounts and vouchers.

It is possible to book parking spaces for additional vehicles at the Berlin-Tegel, Berlin-Schönefeld, Berlin-Brandenburg and Leipzig airports.
In order to do this, simply create a new reservation after completing the previous one or contact our customer support by e-mail or phone.
We recommend checking in with us at least 2.5 hours before departure, whether you park at the Berlin-Tegel, Berlin-Schönefeld, Berlin-Brandenburg or Leipzig airport.
This leaves sufficient time for parking the car in your parking space, transfer to the airport and check-in.
Every parking space reservation includes transfer to the airport on arrival and back to your vehicle on departure for the number of persons specified in the booking.
You can register up to 4 persons for the shuttle service free of charge.
If there are more than 4 persons or additional shuttle trips, additional fees according to our general terms and conditions shall apply.
For the current transfer times, please refer to the parking details in the booking tab on the website or your booking confirmation. However, the actual time may vary, depending on the location or local conditions.
Almost everything fits into our large, comfortable shuttle buses. Each passenger can take a large suitcase and hand luggage free of charge. We can also transport foldable prams.
Bulky luggage, such as surfboards, bicycles or golf clubs must be taken to the airport before check-in at the car park.
Currently, we cannot offer charging stations for electric vehicles. We hope to have them on offer in the near future.
We provide jump starters at each of our locations, so that your car can be jump-started at any time. If this does not work, assistance must be called.
To be able to transport your children safely, our smaller shuttle vehicles are equipped with a child seat and a booster seat. We also have a larger number of seats and baby car seats at our locations. Thus, we can transport several children to the airport at the same time.
If you need a baby car seat or more than one child seat or booster seat for the transfer from the airport to the car park, please contact the shuttle service at the pick-up point, using the phone number specified in your booking confirmation or on the shuttle ticket, and inform them of the additional requirements.
If a large shuttle bus with fixed departure times is used at our location, you do not need any additional seats and can put children on your lap.
